eventuality in your CAT units such as:
-Repair Area for Hydraulic Cylinders

Program, Caterpillar established specifications of cleaning for the
fluids in the diverse systems of our equipment. In RIMCO we feel very
proud, since at present we are complying with the specifications required
by CAT in all (100%) of the equipment delivered to our customers. Through
the Particle Meter, we analyze and verify that all the fluids in your
equipment are complying with the specifications required by CAT.

Customer
Support Agreements (Preventive Maintenance)
At RIMCO we can prepare you a Preventive Maintenance Agreement-CSA,
with this agreement you will minimize your costs and maximize the productivity
of your equipment. This agreement can be for one machine or for your
entire fleet.
A CSA can include, but is not limited to:
1. Repairs
a. Repair costs
b. Estimated repair time
2. Preventive Maintenance
a. Specific maintenance for your equipment
b. Major performance of your equipment
3. Parts
a. Supply the necessary parts for your equipment through our PM KIT.
b. A PM kit is a package that includes all the accessories and/or components
needed for a full preventive maintenance service at a lower cost.
4. S.O.S “Schedule Oil Sample”
a. Detects tendencies of the components.
b. Estimate of the cost of the analysis
The customer should participate completely in the creation of a CSA,
so that the CSA will be created as per your needs.
A CSA can minimize your costs since:
We can coordinate preventive repairs in the correct time for you.
Avoid major disruption at a critical moment of production.
Extend the life of your equipment by maintaining it in optimum condition.
S.O.S
Service Analysis
One of the most important tools in a CSA is the S.O.S. (Schedule Oil
Sample). S.O.S. is an analysis of fluids that permits us to establish
tendencies and to detect failures in the equipment, this with only taking
periodical samples of the fluids in your equipment.
The analysis of S.O.S. can detect:
1. Excessive wear in the components.
2. Entrance of dirt.
3. Entrance of water.
4. Contamination in the fuel.
5. Contamination in the coolant of the engine
6. Viscosity in the oil
7. Oxidation and sulphate
8. Count of particles by milliliter
This analysis gives us a complete picture of the condition of the oil
and the components that it lubricates. To have the maximum benefit of
this analysis it should be done on a schedule predetermined.
The common intervals recommended by CAT for the oil samples are:
Engine 250 hours.
Transmission 500 hours
Hydraulic System 500 hours
Final Drives and Differential 500 hours
You should always refer to your operations and maintenance manual to
determine the specific intervals of your equipment.
With the SOS fluids history of your equipment, we can:
Prevent major failure of components.
Quickly detect the cause of failure in the components of your equipment.
Monitor repairs in the equipments.
